Maison de Garance fabric from French General |
In the 18th century Maison de Garance - the House of
Garance - was one of the only dye houses in France to
cultivate all of the shades of the garance flower -
from deep red to chocolate brown. The walls of
Maison de Garance were covered in painted leaves which
were hand-shaded colors of the garance plant to show
off all the hues.

What is delivered every Month? |
|
In this block of the month club you
will receive all the patterns and fabric to complete
the quilt top which measures 66" x 86".
You will be creating TWO blocks each month, your
fabric, patterns and color card, will be mailed to you on the third week of
each
month starting in November 2010 and will continue
through the third week of April of 2011. (Backing is sold separately)

Backing: You will need 5 1/4 yards of fabric for
your backing, we have

you to make less of a payment over a longer period of

2010 and end April 2011. Shipping will be U.S. $5.30,
